My name is Julia and I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Journalism, Advertising and Media Studies with an emphasis on Public Relations. Extroverted by nature, I’ve sought experiences where I can maximize my core abilities to relate well to others, tell stories in a compelling fashion, plan, implement, and execute marketing strategies, all the while helping to encourage those around me to aim high.
My college semesters were spent interning within the sports media world. I took on the role of seeing every opportunity through, which allowed me to gain a large variety of experience in; broadcasting, sales, advertising, marketing, social media engagement, event planning/executing, storytelling, interviewing, and relationship building. Through these experiences I developed simple core values that mean I always go the extra mile.
My energy is led by my contagious personality, entrepreneurial spirit and exciting sense of adventure. I am a believer in doing what you love and I am motivated to bring my passion and drive for success to every opportunity I encounter.
Personally, I am a fitness fanatic and love being active. I am always moving, whether it’s through long-distance runs, yoga or beach volleyball. Snowboarding and wake-boarding are also favorites.
I’m ready to use my skills, enthusiasm, and drive to help an organization take their proverbial game to the next level.
